The Wood’s Powr-Grip® 8-inch metal-handle vacuum cup gives installers a handhold for carrying and positioning flat glass. Its compact pad seals against the face of the pane.
A red band on the pump plunger makes vacuum loss visible. The check valve retains the remaining vacuum when the cup is re-pumped. Once the glass is supported, the release lever breaks the seal.
Maximum load per cup — 125 lb (57 kg) in horizontal testing. Capacity can be lower on upright or inclined glass.
Vacuum pad — 8 in. nominal diameter, model VPFS8L.
Handle — metal.
Contact surface — clean, dry, smooth, flat and nonporous.
