For optimal door performance, follow these guidelines:

• if the door is under 154 lbs. with a maximum width of 35-7/16”, install one hydraulic hinge at the bottom and a free-swinging hinge at the top, or use two free swinging hinges. 

• If the door is over 154 lbs. up to 220lbs. with a maximum width of 39-3/8”, use two hydraulic hinges.
