LATUS 80 Hinges are used for glass thicknesses of 3/8”, 1/2" and 9/16”. Maximum Weight capacity and Door Width of the hinges varies for having a hydraulic and a free swinging or having two hydraulics installed on the door. For optimal door performance, follow these guidelines:

• if the door is under 154 lbs. with a maximum width of 35-7/16”, install one hydraulic hinge at the bottom and a free-swinging hinge at the top, or use two free swinging hinges. 
•  If the door is over 154 lbs. up to 220lbs. with a maximum width of 39-3/8”, use two hydraulic hinges.

When using hydraulic hinges, a stopper must be installed so the door cannot be opened past 90º.  We recommend either of the two options bellow or for a wider variety check out:
