Glaze Hardware’s Dummy Hinge is designed to pair seamlessly with the Latus Glass-to-Wall Hydraulic Hinge, creating a refined and modern alternative to traditional floor springs and patch fittings. While the hydraulic hinge provides controlled, soft-closing action, the dummy hinge functions as the free-swinging top support hinge in the system.

For doors weighing up to 154 lbs., one hydraulic hinge is installed at the bottom and the dummy hinge is used at the top. For heavier doors, two hydraulic hinges are required to support weights up to 220 lbs.

This system is engineered for 3/8″ to 9/16″ tempered safety glass with a maximum door width of 39″. A stopper must be installed to prevent the door from opening beyond 90°.
